As you can see Bill likes old Darts.

He also like to make them go fast…really fast!

This ’67 Dart was literally owned by a little old lady, but she was from San Diego, not Pasadena. So it’s safe to call it a ‘grannymobile’.

It started life with a 225 c.i. Slant Six engine, a column shift 904 3 speed automatic transmission, and a ‘peg-leg’ 7 ¼ rear end. Even brand new it had trouble getting out of its own way!

The body has seen some minor bumps and bruises [granny may have had bad depth perception] and has been repainted a few times. The interior is in pretty good shape with a bench seat and a smokin’ hot AM radio.

When he got the car it sounded like the bottom end was about to burst out from the oil pan! At least one of the rod bearing had spun [it sounded like multiple ones had] but it still started up and went from the trailer to the driveway.

Bill being Bill, it’s not going to stay this way. Keep checkin’ back cause we’re sure there’s a big block, beefed up tranny, and a sure grip somewhere in its near future…and some trips down the strip at Barona!

Here's how Bill found the car, as you can see it had been setting awhile, but overall it was in good shape

A little bit of scrubbin' and she cleaned right up! Gotta love those old dog dish hub caps
